Welcome to The Kelly Kitchen! I’m Ali. I love cooking/baking and sharing that food with the ones I love. My taste testers include my husband and three growing, very active boys. When not in the kitchen, we enjoy camping trips and managing our vegetable garden. There is nothing better than creating recipes with fresh produce from our own back yard!
My interest in the kitchen began when I was young – helping my Mom bake lots of goodies from scratch and experimenting making my own recipes. Gosh, I can still picture the small tie-dyed composition book I would use to scribble down new creations. It was worn out and stained from years of trial and error, attempting to perfect a new cake or pasta dish. While the majority of those recipes have been left in the 90’s, that small, decrepit book is where my culinary education began. It brings back such fond memories.
